Design

The Center for Continuing Studies is currently offering certificates of proficiency in floral, interior and graphic design. View information on the Graphic Design program here.,

The Floral Design program offers the choice of taking the classes as part of the certificate or taking the classes on an as-needed basis or for continuing education units in fulfillment or professional development requirements in horticulture. Newly introduced is the summer accelerated certificate. Students take a series of classes which combine several floral subject areas into each class. Upon successful completion of all classes and a final presentation, students of this accelerated program will finish the summer with a certificate of proficiency in floral design.

This fall, courses that are part of the standard Floral Design Certificate program will kick off with Basic Floral Design on September 5. This required course is a prerequisite to all others. All classes are held in the Mercer County Community College Greenhouse Complex that houses MCCC's horticulture Associates program. Visit the Floral Design page for course and program details.

The Center for Continuing Studies is also offering courses within the area of floral design. There are new classes added to this popular course area each semester. The floral design courses are instructed in the Mercer County Community College greenhouse that houses MCCC's credit horticulture program.
