The Center for Continuing Studies at Mercer offers construction courses and programs applicable to all positions within the construction industry. The courses can be taken on an individual basis or as part of the Construction Project Management Certificate. Different courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters to assist in completion of the certificate in as little time as possible. Mercer County Community College is part of the Mid-Jersey regional community colleges that are offering Uniform Construction Code (UCC) classes. Please note that the Senior Citizen Discount is not applicable to these classes.

This course provides an overview of the mathematical operations required on the job as a construction inspector.
Learning Objectives include:
Understanding why construction inspectors perform calculations
Reinforce the units of measure commonly used by inspectors for documentation and payment
Learn rounding concepts and decimal measures commonly used on construction projects
Show how the learned calculations are applied on the job
0.8 CEU. Cost: $225 (Senior Citizen Discount is not applicable to this class.)
