CCENT (Cisco Certified Network Entry Technician) Training
Preferred: Computer support essentials or A+ certification.

Are you an IT professional looking to set yourself apart from the rest? If so, this CCENT Training class is for you. The CCENT certification signifies a high level of technical expertise to employers and colleagues and it is the first test of two required to pass the highly valued CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam. Learn how to install, configure and maintain simple networks utilizing Cisco devices including the switches and routers important to multi-protocol LAN interfaces. Upon culmination, you will be prepared to take the CCENT certification test and receive the credential that places you in a group of solidly educated network technicians. Textbook is recommended, not required, and available in the college bookstore. 1.2 CEU. Cost: $1,050

LINUX + LX0-013

This course is designed to help students prepare for the CompTIA+ LX0-013 certification exam; it also serves as an introductory course. This is an excellent course to give you an advantage in the IT industry and strengthen your Linux, server administration and computer networking skills. Class will be taught using Cent OS Linus. Note that the LX0-103 and LX0-104 exams both need to be passed for the Linus+. This is a hybrid course that meets four hours per week in the classroom and four hours per week online. 1.2 CEU. Cost: $200

Beginning Mobile App Development with HTML5
Required: Some knowledge or prior experience with programming or web development
Get your next mobile app idea started with the newest mobile development framework. This hands-on class introduces students to creating simple user interfaces and setting up development environments with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 code. Work with smart phone components like the camera and network as well as phone storage and networking and learn how to test and debug mobile apps. Textbook is recommended, not required, and available in college bookstore. Note that this class will be focusing on Android; however, the techniques canbe applied to other platforms as well. 1.2 CEU. Cost: $299
