Head Coach Widmarc Dalce
Men's Soccer
12th Season

Head men's soccer coach Widmarc Tigana Dalce is a familar face on the MCCC sideline. Dalce was a member of the 1996 National Championship team under former Vikings coach Charlie Inverso and earned All-Region honors for the Vikings in 1997.  He has spent two seasons as an Assistant Coach at MCCC before becoming Head Coach in 2012. 

Dalce hails from Haiti and was a member of the Haitian Olympic National Team from 1991-1993.  Dalce graduated from MCCC in 1998 with a degree in Humanities and Social Science and continued his academic and athletic career at American International College.  He earned his bachelor's degree in Sociology and was named Defensive Player of the Year at American International.

Dalce brings an extensive coaching background to MCCC, which includes time as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team at Rider University and as head boy's soccer coach at Allentown High School, where he was named Colonial Valley Conference Coach of the Year.  He also has been a youth soccer coach in U-16 and U-18 leagues in East Windsor,West Windsor, and Princeton. 

Dalce hopes to help his players not only succeed on the field, but in the classroom as well.  "This is not just about winning on the field" Dalce said "I will work to see that players transfer on to four-year schools."

Dalce is enjoying for the opportunity to take over the head coaching reigns at his alma mater.  "Mercer is like a home to me.  It's where I really started to enjoy playing soccer.  I was proud to play under Coach Charlie Inverso.  I have always wanted to return and coach here.  I am ready and very happy."

Dalce currently lives in Trenton.
